G-SHOCK Watch GA-110-1BER
As a technically sophisticated timekeeper with both analog and digital display, the Casio G-Shock Original GA-110-1BER holds its place among the top watches. Above all, it is also a sleek, modern, and everyday suitable statement piece that belongs in every watch collection and makes an equally unpretentious as well as lasting impression.
The watch from the G-Shock Original series is – whether in the office, at a family celebration, during sports, indoor or outdoor use – thanks to the special Casio features resilient and nearly indestructible: The classic G-Shock watches from Casio have special shock resistance thanks to the hollow case, which fits over the technical inner workings like a shell and protects them as best as possible from shocks. The resin material of the case and strap, a synthetic resin, also contributes with its cushioning properties and, together with the hard, scratch-resistant mineral glass of the display, ensures that neither the case nor the glass scratch or break unsightly. An interesting feature is that the watch case has been given antimagnetic properties; the watch is thus shielded from magnetic fields due to its material.
The clearly arranged, tactile controls make it possible to operate the watch in fractions of a second. The illumination of the dark dial is activated by a slight turn of the wrist; the movement activates the light-emitting diode and allows a quick glance at the time and digital information even in the dark, in bright sunlight, or underwater. And since the watch withstands both heat and icy cold and even water depth when diving (water resistance up to 20 bar according to ISO standards), this straightforward function is indeed especially effective.
Besides the analog time display, the watch’s functions include the classic features of a digital watch: once set, both the date and weekday, time in 12- or 24-hour format, and even the world time from 29 time zones run continuously. As a stopwatch, the Casio GA-100-1A1ER can measure time even more precisely than most other digital watches: the stopwatch runs to 1/1000 second accuracy and can record time for up to 100 hours. With displays for elapsed time, split time, and end time, a lot of data can be recorded, making it especially suitable for long-distance runs or activities. Here, the average speed for a covered distance can also be recorded. Simply enter the planned distance at the start of the activity and then measure the actual time by starting and stopping the stopwatch. The watch then simply calculates the speed for a running time of up to 100 hours.
The timer can be set for a running time of up to 24 hours and ends with an alarm signal. When the time has elapsed, it can be restarted with the set time. Five daily alarms can be programmed to remind of recurring events. This way, no appointment is missed. Additionally, a snooze function is available, after which the signal sounds again.
With a battery life of up to 2 years, the watch is reliable and definitely a favorite in the Casio watch range.
