In the popular Arc'teryx LEAF Naga Hoody Full Zip Gen2.1 in the colour Wolf, the fabric was changed from Pontetorto to POLARTEC. Visually, the Gen2 and Gen2.1 models do not differ. In a refined facelift in 2021, the classic continues to impress with an improved shape and some clever detail changes that pay off in use – whether worn as intended as a tactical middle layer, as a jacket for quick putting on, or as a jogging jacket.

The sturdy POLARTEC fleece of the hoody makes its versatility possible, as the material is both warming and breathable. The cut of the hooded jacket was adjusted in the second generation and especially improved at the torso and sleeves: the anatomical fit offers an optimized combination of heat management and full freedom of movement. The full-length zipper naturally also contributes to this. The hood of the hoody was made slimmer at the collar; it now flows into the collar and ensures that no cold spots form, whether the hood is in use or only the collar is zipped up to the top. Because the hood also fits more closely to the head, often a woollen cap can be omitted and the hood can even be worn under a helmet, as the flat seams prevent pressure points.

The LEAF Naga Hoody Full Zip Men's Gen2.1 continues to convince in the second generation. Even better than its predecessor, the classic middle layer has become especially good when combined with other jackets. But also as a standalone jacket, the hoody is an absolute alternative and after its updates a slim and modern version of the old LEAF classic.
