The proven Atom Jacket LT Gen2.1 in the color Ranger Green, which can be worn as a middle clothing layer or on its own, has undergone a fabric change from Pontetorto to POLARTEC. Visually, the Gen2 and Gen2.1 models do not differ. The jacket continues to impress with an excellent material combination that unites cold insulation with full flexibility and breathability. How exactly does this work? Quite simply, the POLARTEC® Power Stretch® 223gsm/6.6oz Hardface™ Jersey/Velour is the lining that provides warmth while simultaneously wicking moisture away from the skin; the LI PENG High Air Perm Nylon Ripstop also plays a role and enhances breathability. Even when operational activities become sweat-inducing, dryness inside is ensured. The CLIMASHIELD 2oz Combat Fibrefill Insulation with DWR insulates the warmth and is also equipped with the typical DWR water-repellent outer material layer. The TORAY Mechanical Stretch Mini-Rip Lightweight makes the jacket flexible and thus also sturdy – and above all light. A special feature of the Atom Jacket LT Gen2 is precisely that it is LT: lightweight. This makes it perfect for any combat gear. Quickly stowed, small in packed size, and above all light in weight.

Additionally, the jacket is equipped with some important features that make a big difference especially when combined with tactical equipment. The cut of the jacket is so slim that it can be worn not only with a rain jacket or an additional insulating jacket but also with a protective vest or harness. The drawcord at the hem of the Atom Jacket has been pulled vertically; this prevents entanglements under a vest and ensures the jacket sits comfortably under protective gear.

The side zippered pocket on the chest has been slightly repositioned by Arc’teryx so that it is now even easier to use; small items are quickly accessible here. The side hand pockets are also equipped with zippers. They also include cable openings for communication devices, allowing communication equipment to be better handled.

The full zipper allows the Atom Jacket to be easily pulled on and does not have to be pulled over the head. The No Slip Zip™ also prevents the zipper from opening by itself. The Atom LT Jacket Gen2.1 is a tactical garment for operations of all demands.
