The softshell glove from Arc’teryx PRO is, as its name suggests, a special duty glove for swift rope rescue work. Especially in mountain rescue, the need for sturdy gloves that do not restrict the movements of hands and fingers is a constant requirement. The Arc’teryx PRO Rope Glove is ready when working on ropes and when quick and precise handling is needed. The glove is made from Burly™ Double Weave Softshell fabric, which is flexible and breathable. The key hand areas, the palm and fingers, are sewn with reinforcements made of goatskin leather, which reliably protect the hand and fingers during abseiling and belaying. Additional leather reinforcements between the thumb and forefinger provide extra protection for particularly vulnerable and sensitive spots. Nowadays, touchscreen-compatible fingertips are indispensable and are also used in the Arc’teryx PRO Rope Glove. The cuff of the rescue glove is flexible thanks to an elastic band and adapts to the wrist. This way, the duty glove can be worn unobstructed under any jacket and is also easy to put on and take off. A carabiner can be attached to a clip-in loop. The Arc’teryx PRO Rope Glove is available in black.
