The XA FORCES MID GTX is definitely an ankle-high shoe that will accompany the wearer for a long time. The shoe was developed based on the famous and popular XA PRO 3D MID GTX and is even more tailored to the demands of as flexible operational situations as possible. With a GORE-TEX membrane, it is waterproof, although the anti-debris mesh forms a light and above all flexible base structure. Double stitching has further improved the XA FORCES MID GTX in terms of durability. In this regard, the heel and toe reinforcements made of rubber also help reduce wear.

The construction with 3D Advanced Chassis supports the foot and ensures a good fit. Additionally, the toe cap has been expanded to further improve wearing comfort. The instep has also been reinforced compared to the previous model, so it can now better support climbing and fast rappelling operations.

For the sole construction, Salomon sticks to the proven combination and combines the Contagrip rubber outsole with an EVA midsole and an OrthoLite insole. This combination provides optimal cushioning, good breathability, and increased wearing comfort.
