The SPEEDCROSS 6 FORCES by Salomon, here in the color Black, was created for very fast missions where grip and precision are crucial. Wider feet get more space and comfort in this version. The origin of this shoe lies in swift trail runs in rough, muddy terrain.
The upper is made from ripstop fabric, anti-debris mesh, as well as a rock guard and toe guard. All materials used are highly breathable, so the foot climate remains comfortable even in damp and warm areas. This WIDE version features a last with an additional 12 mm circumference in the instep area. This means extra comfort for wide feet and feels like a relief. The SensiFit™ system wraps the foot from the midsole to the Quicklace™ fast lacing system, ensuring a secure, snug, and almost custom fit on the foot.
The sole construction consists of EVA material for highest cushioning with optimal rebound. The Contagrip® TA outsole with chevron studs provides excellent grip on various surfaces. The OrthoLite® insole ensures a comfortable fit and additional cushioning inside the shoe, while the perforations in the sole support the foot climate.
