Through the Engadin with a tent – traveling simply, enjoying fully

The Engadin is vast, open, and harsh. Just the right place to leave all unnecessary things behind for a few days. In the backpack: the essentials. On the way: nothing but Swiss stone pine, mountain air, and the rhythm of footsteps.

While trekking along the Inn, it quickly becomes clear how important light, durable gear is. Every unnecessary item becomes a burden after a few kilometres. That is why I rely on high-quality, long-lasting equipment that serves several purposes.

In the evening, I set up my tent above the tree line. The wind picks up, the temperatures drop. A warm insulating jacket and a good hat make the difference between freezing and enjoying. For dinner, there is simple pasta – and afterwards a tea from my YETI cup, which keeps the warmth for a long time, even if I place it beside the tent.
