Fibertec Textile Guard Pro 500ml
Textile Guard Pro is the new name for the multiple award-winning Blue Guard Spray On. A highly effective special impregnation with a C6 active ingredient for clothing made from natural and synthetic fabrics. It cares for and protects high-quality functional clothing, acting not only strongly water-repellent but also dirt- and oil-repellent. The breathability of waterproof-breathable clothing is optimized. Suitable for rainwear, ski and sailing clothing, motorcycle clothing, softshells, gloves, etc. Textile Guard Pro is recommended for treating GORE-TEX® clothing. Textile Guard Pro contains no PFOS or PFOA.
With its exceptional beading effect, Textile Guard Pro also convinced the testers at Stiftung Warentest. Under the name Blue Guard SprayOn, Textile Guard Pro was the test winner in September 2015 at Stiftung Warentest in the category "Special impregnation agents for textiles".
A heat treatment is not strictly necessary for the effectiveness of the impregnation but can, under certain circumstances, significantly increase the beading effect. For this, the textile is ideally placed in the tumble dryer at normal temperature for about 30 minutes. If no tumble dryer is available, the textile can alternatively be ironed at setting 1 (synthetic temperature) for activation.
