Highly sensitive thermal sensor with 640x480 pixels of European manufacture

The extremely sensitive thermal sensor from Lynred with a NETD value of <18 mK sets an industry record and ensures impressive thermal image quality and perfect detail recognition even under the most difficult weather conditions when the thermal contrast is low. The smallest temperature differences become clearly visible and recognizable in rain, fog, or cold mornings, thus under the most challenging conditions for the thermal camera.

Advanced algorithms: Pulsar Image Boost technology

Pulsar Image Boost gives the Telos thermal camera the highest level of detail, clarity, and contrast with a series of original image processing algorithms. Telos thermal monoculars reproduce complex scenes in a wide range of shades with evenly glowing, low-contrast objects such as sky, grass, and water surfaces. Through software detailing and sharpening of objects at various distances, the thermal image becomes very information-rich. Manually increasing the sensitivity of the thermal sensor improves the quality of animal detection when observation conditions worsen. A smoothing filter and a wide range of brightness and contrast settings in 20 steps allow comfortable observation over a longer period.

New zoom and focus control directly on the lens ring

Ergonomics and feel play a major role in the new Telos series. As a new feature, zoom and focus of the lens can be smoothly adjusted via two rings placed one after the other, as is done with high-quality, professional camera lenses. This allows quick and precise adjustment for a clear, detailed, and sharp image at the desired magnification level. Since the adjustments can be made with one hand, both left- and right-handed users quickly become familiar with the Telos.

Precise laser distances up to 1000 m

Correctly estimating the distance to the target is an essential factor for making the right decisions. A built-in laser rangefinder with a range of up to 1 kilometer allows distance measurements in single and continuous measurement mode (scan mode) with an accuracy of ± 1 meter for quick and error-free distance assessment.

Upgradeable instrument

The development of thermal imaging devices is subject to dynamic progress. Likewise, the requirements and wishes of the user may change during the use of the device. To accommodate this, Pulsar designed the Telos series as an open system that can be upgraded at the factory to meet new, higher demands. For example, the sensor, the display, or components such as the laser rangefinder can be retrofitted later upon request.
